technologies to fully digitize any physical artwork through an invisible genomic tag, designed to last for centuries.
Each physical artwork is tagged with a different genomic profile, that is stored on the blockchain and is linked to the digital folder of the artwork (containing informations, among others, about provenance, property and condition report) to create a perennial, unchangeable association with the physical artwork that cannot be counterfeit.
The first step of the process consists of digitalizing the artwork easily, fast, and most importantly, without harming the object, no matter which material. Therefore we have developed a genomic barcode that uses ink combined with a genome, whose unique code is stored in an entry on the blockchain.
We deposit a mark on the artwork that does not alter the phisical characteristics and that is not visible to the naked eye. The mark is the unique "tag" that creates a direct link between the physical artwork and its digital representation.
Having the physical artwork tagged with the genomic barcode, Digital Téchne creates a unique and secure certificate of ownership by means of a NFT. Moreover, images, experises and proof of provenance are stored on the Digital Téchne platform. The digital NFT certification is anonymous evidence of property and offers direct access to any financial and crypto transaction.
